• Turkey Tour Section Summary:
  Welcome to Turkey! This tour is suitable for those on a tight budget or time frame who would like to experience Gallipoli, the ANZAC services and a great Turkish adventure, including welcome cocktail, tea, coffee and snacks. Conference about ANZAC Dawn Service and Turkey, given by ANZAC experts who will come from Australia and New Zealand and professional Turkish ANZAC guides. Gallipoli tour, Dawn Service, Istanbul city tour, all entrance fees, 4 star hotel accommodation, arrival airport transfer from Istanbul Ataturk airport and professional English speaking guides who have the insight, knowledge and experience to give you the best ANZAC Day Tour money can buy.   Egypt Tour Section Summary:
  8 Day Experience to The Pyramids, Aswan and River Nile Cruise. • Day 1 - Istanbul - Saturday, 23rd April 2011
  Meet at the airport, transfer to your hotel. You will be given your room key and the rest of the day is yours to explore Istanbul til 6:00pm. Between 6:00pm - 7:00pm we will have a conference about ANZAC Dawn Service and Turkey. The conference will be given by ANZAC experts who will come from Australia and New Zealand and also by professional Turkish ANZAC guides. Welcome cocktail, tea, coffee and snacks are included. You will meet with the other ANZAC participants and TravelShop Turkey Team. We recommend you to arrange your flights, to be at the hotel prior the conference starts. Overnight in Istanbul.
  
  For those who have arrived in good time we have a ANZAC Party scheduled for tonight. This is an optional activity. Party information, prices and details can be found here >>>
  Note!! Transfers from Sabiha Gokcen airport can be arranged at extra cost.
  
  Day 2 - Gallipoli Tour - Sunday, 24th April 2011
  (Breakfast included - dinner optional)
  We depart for Gallipoli at 7:00am (4.5 hours drive). On the way we will have the chance to watch the latest documentary on the Gallipoli Campaign. A stop will be provided on the way down for supplies. We start our tour of the Gallipoli Peninsula a little after midday. The Gallipoli tour includes the Kabatepe War Museum, ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine (Australias Memorial and Cemetery), Quinns Post, Turkish 57th Regiment Cemetery, the Nek and Chunuk Bair (New Zealand's Memorial and Cemetery). After the tour we drive to the coast of Gabatepe for our big ANZAC BBQ and buffet dinner (optional). At approx 09:30pm we will depart for the ANZAC Dawn Service. Overnight at ANZAC Cove. If you dont want to stay outside at the ANZAC Commemorative Site overnight, we provide optional hotel accomodation at Gallipoli. This option is not available after your arrival in Turkey, pre-booking is required.
  
  Day 3 - Gallipoli Dawn Service - Monday, 25th April 2011
  Don't forget your sleeping bags, warm clothes, wet weather gear and torches because Gallipoli is still as dark and as cold today as it was 96 years ago when our ancestors landed. Please bring your hat, sunscreen and good walking shoes! Optional we provide sleepings bags for rent, please let us know at time of booking.

  After the services at approx 3:00pm we will depart from Gallipoli and drive back to Istanbul (4.5 hours drive).
  
  Day 4 - Istanbul City Tour - Tuesday, 26th April 2011
  (Breakfast included)
  We depart from the hotel at 08:30am for the Istanbul city tour.
  
  TOPKAPI PALACE: The great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed.
  
  SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE: Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles.
  
  HIPPODROME: Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Lunch break and then we head to the SPICE BAZAAR (Egyptian Bazaar) The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other conceivable herb and spice.
  
  After the Istanbul city tour you have the option to experience a Bosphorus cruise, you will have the chance to enjoy magnificent views of the Bosphorus straigt which is connecting Asia to Europe. Overnight 4 star hotel in Istanbul.
  
  Day 5 - Istanbul & Cairo - Wednesday, 27th April 2011
  After breakfast check out from the hotel and depart by international flight to Egypt. Arrival to Cairo airport. From the airport you will be transferred by a private A-C car to your hotel and overnight in Cairo. (No Meals)
  
  Day 6 - Cairo - Egypt - Thursday, 28th April 2011
  Breakfast. Start your full day visiting the Egyptian museum of antiquities. Collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tut-Ankh-Amon collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry, as it was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated. Visit the great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren Mykerions. Cheops is the most colossal ever built. Next is a close-up look at Sphinx - a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren. Then visit Khan El Khalili Bazaars. Shops in this district are legendary for fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques �etc. transfer you to the Cairo station to catch the Sitting train to Luxor.
  
  Day 7 - Luxor Egypt - Friday, 29th April 2011
  Luxor. Arrival, meet & assist by our local representatives and transfer to the M/S Nile Cruise. Boarding before Lunch. Lunch on board. Visit The Temple of Karnak & the Temple of Luxor. Afternoon tea. Dinner on board & Belly Dance show. Overnight in Luxor.
  
  Day 8 - Edfu Egypt - Saturday, 30th April 2011
  Breakfast. Visit The West Bank, the Valley of the Kings, Valley of The Queens and The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Lunch on board. Sail to Esna. Afternoon Tea. Disco Party. Overnight in Edfu.
  
  Day 9 - Kom Ombo Egypt - Sunday, 1st May 2011
  Breakfast on board. Visit the temple of Horus in Edfu. Sail to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Visit the Temple shared by the two Gods Sobek & Haroeies in Kom Ombo. Afternoon Tea. Dinner on board & Galabeya party Overnight in Kom Ombo.
  
  Day 10 - Aswan Egypt - Monday, 2nd May 2011
  Breakfast on board. Sail to Aswan. Visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries & The Temple of Philae Lunch on board. Sail on the Nile by felucca around Kitchener�s island and Elephantine. Afternoon Tea. Dinner on board. Overnight in Aswan.
  
  Day 11 - Pyramids Egypt - Tuesday, 3rd May 2011
  Breakfast on board. Disembarkation after breakfast. (Optional trip to Abu Simble by plane), Free time. Transfer to Aswan airport and departure by plane to Cairo. Arrival, meet and assist by our representatives transfer to the hotel, overnight in hotel. (Optional Sound and Light) laser show at Pyramids.
  
  Day 12 - End Of Your Tour - Wednesday, 4th May 2011
  After breakfast, please check out from your room before 11:00am, as your ANZAC day tour ends today. Our representative will transfer you to the airport and assist you at the airport through final departure formalities.

  The Feronya Hotel is situated at the Taksim Square in the heart of Istanbul. It is easy to go everywhere, including sightseeing places, shopping areas, night clubs, bars, cafeterias, cinemas etc. Istanbul is the Capital of European Culture 2011 so that we have limited rooms in this hotel. If you would like to stay in this hotel, please make early booking. You will stay at Feronya Hotel on bed & breakfast basis.

We provide very special hotels in Istanbul for our ANZAC day tour clients.

Istanbul is the capital city of European Culture 2011, therefore most of the hotels will be booked out month in advance, so you need to book your ANZAC day tour well ahead.

We strongly recommend that you make your reservation as early as possible if you plan to attend the 96th commemoration of ANZAC Day at Gallipoli.

Our prices are valid until 25th of December 2010, then our prices may change, subject to availability.

We have special discounts available for you. We offer 5% discount on early bookings and 10% discount on full payments until 25th December 2010.

Our conference about ANZAC Day and Turkey will take place in Istanbul on 23rd of April 2011.

This tour can easily be extended or slightly shortened if required.

For practical reasons on the Nile, the cruise may be subject to slight alternations at short notice.
